She has worked at various non-profits and legal aid organizations both as a law student and as a barred attorney. Her first job out of law school was in eviction defense. She fought to keep low-income tenants housed and worked diligently to minimize the poor outcomes individuals experience when going through the eviction process. Both during and after law school,

Lauren has been advocating for Veterans issues and quickly found herself drawn to Veterans law. Lauren began working in Veterans law during her second year of law school. Her passion for Veterans law began during military service. She saw firsthand that a powerful advocate could make the difference between success following military service and potentially a lifetime of struggles. Ever since working in a position to assist veterans, Lauren has sought to establish herself as an advocate to aid veterans in the transition process and ensure they are able to access all the benefits they are entitled to. Lauren has continuously practiced Veterans law throughout her law career in various capacities handling everything from discharge upgrades, individual unemployability applications, disability benefit applications, increasing disability benefits, education benefits, healthcare benefits, and military records correction. Lauren is ready and willing to take on any fight for benefits that a veteran or their family may face when dealing with the Veterans Administration or Department of Defense.
