Founding Attorney
Beverly is a dedicated family law attorney with over 16 years of experience helping clients navigate divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support matters. She earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University, graduating Cum Laude, and discovered her passion for family law while working with the Whatcom Civil Rights Project, where she saw firsthand how access to legal support can change lives. Known for being strategic and solutions-oriented, she works toward the most effective path forward, whether through negotiation or litigation.
Beverly also served eight years as a Captain in the Washington Army National Guard, giving her a deep understanding of the unique challenges military families face. Committed to improving access to legal information, she has partnered with the Pierce County Law Library to create educational resources that help individuals better understand their legal options.

Beverly also served eight years as a Captain in the Washington Army National Guard, where she developed discipline, leadership, and a strong sense of duty. She understands the unique challenges faced by military families and brings structure and focus to every case.

Ann understands that at the heart of every legal matter are people, not just paperwork. With nearly a decade of experience in the legal field, her career has been one of steady dedication and growth. After a successful ten-year tenure as a paralegal, Ann completed the Rule 6 Law Clerk apprenticeship and currently serves as a Rule 9 licensed legal intern while preparing for the bar exam.

Jordan Woodward
Law Clerk
Jordan Woodward is a law clerk at Nexus Legal Counsel and is expected to join the firm as an associate attorney upon admission to the Bar. Jordan supports the firm’s family law practice by assisting with legal research, drafting, and case preparation. Jordan earned a Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2024, where they were awarded the Academic Honors Scholarship. While at Seattle University, Jordan worked with the Moderate Means Program, which helps individuals living under the poverty line access legal services in family law, consumer law, and housing law by connecting them with attorneys at reduced rates.
Jordan received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Science from Miami University of Ohio in 2021. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys environmental advocacy, hiking, painting, and reading.

Kate is a transplant from Southeast Texas who loves living the Pacific Northwest life! Kate graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre and Dance, specializing in technical theatre, and brings a unique, versatile background in the arts and humanities to the legal field. What draws Kate to family law is the opportunity to ensure Washington’s children are best supported at home and can fully thrive in their various circumstances. Outside of the office, Kate enjoys crocheting, helping coordinate weddings, playing video/tabletop games with friends and family, and spending time with her cat, Pippin.
